Wheland Village
COMING SOON TO SOUTH BROAD DISTRICT IN CHATTANOOGA

Welcome to
Wheland Village

A vibrant new residential development in the ascending South Broad neighborhood of Chattanooga. Situated just minutes from downtown and within walking distance of the Tennessee Riverwalk and the new Chattanooga Lookouts stadium, Wheland Village offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a transforming area. This thoughtfully designed community will feature modern condos and townhomes for sale inspired by the area’s industrial roots.

10-Minute Walk from Home to Home Plate

Located just south of the South Broad District, Wheland Village is a 10-minute walk from the future Foundry Stadium via the Tennessee Riverwalk trail.

The revitalization of the South Broad District will be accomplished by redeveloping and restoring 140 acres of the Wheland Foundry and U.S. Pipe sites to create a vibrant live-work-play mixed use neighborhood. The first phase will will consist of multi-family residential buildings with hundreds of units, a class-A office building, and a multi-use stadium & entertainment venue anchored by the beloved Chattanooga Lookouts. This redevelopment will preserve and reuse many of the historic buildings on the site, creating a gateway as visitors enter Chattanooga from I-24 West. The stadium is expected to open in Spring of 2026.

What's in a Name?

Wheland is the family surname given to the Foundry that served as a fundamental part of Chattanooga’s iron industry and anchored what would become the Dynamo of Dixie. Wheland Foundry left its mark on history producing iron and steel components for nearly 50% of all vehicles sold in the US at one point in history and providing jobs for thousands of Chattanoogans for just shy of 120 years, from 1884 to 2003.

Wheland Village brings that industrious, familial equity forward for a new generation of visionaries who want an address of distinction in the promising South Broad District.
